Credit Controller

Will be an experienced credit controller. Preferably, but not essentially from a consumer goods background. A manner and approach which is firm fair and friendly. Not easily rattled. A sense of humour is a must. Must be able to communicate unwelcome decisions in a professional manner. Must have good computer skills. Will also have the capability to take on broader tasks within a small accounts office.
This position could suit a mature person of many years experience or a younger person with the right combination of maturity tact and ambition. Good customer service skills are a must, along with excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Skills required
Must have:-
Credit control and Sales ledger skills.
A basic understanding of accounting systems.
Able to produce presentable results in Excel and Word systems.
Familiar with any Computerised accounting system. Sage especially beneficial
Useful to have:-
Experience of invoice factoring useful but training can be given.

Specific tasks to be completed
Liaise with factoring company on credit decisions and customer payments.
Liaise with sales dept on credit decisions and customer payments.
Perform Credit card & PayPal processes and reconciliations.
Perform Debtors ledger/ factoring processes and reconciliations.
Manage a small Purchase Ledger.
Raise payments in an online banking system.
Issue statements and progress chase debtors on a timely basis.

Temporary Warehouse Operatives

Working in our busy warehouse, picking and packing goods, putting stock into bays, checking orders. Must have good literacy, numeracy and communications skills.
